Gameplay and Features

You’ll encounter friends from your past, observing how they’ve evolved over time. Their stories, adventures, and even potential romances will be woven into your journey. The game offers a unique blend of social interactions and personal growth, ensuring a compelling experience.

Note that Under the Bridge is a safe-for-work game, but it does feature adults in adult situations using adult language. If it were a movie, it’d likely be rated PG-13. In terms of ESRB ratings, it would be rated T for teens. It wouldn’t be suitable for an iOS release due to its content.

Branching Narrative

The game currently includes the entire first, second, and third day of its narrative. As development continues, more days will be added. This means you’ll have plenty to discover and experience as you delve deeper into the story.

Original Music and Art

The game boasts exclusive original backgrounds, character art, and music created by talented artists and musicians. Enjoy animated backgrounds accompanied by a mix of midwest emo, punk, and lofi musical stylings. You can also listen to the tracks on Bandcamp.

Creator and Credits

Under the Bridge was created by Joseph O. Possum, with overworld art by Boroco. The game features music by Ash Bricky and Micx, with additional sound effects by Marnus Strydom. Zav also contributed to the music. You can find their social media handles on Twitter.

Known Issues

While playing the game, you might encounter an issue where attempting to load a save during certain moments in the first day’s content (specifically, when the text appears in the center of a black screen) results in dialogue boxes not displaying properly. This issue is present in build 16.1 but was fixed in 16.2. As a workaround, you can load an earlier save before the black screen appears or save and reload after it goes away.
