Created for the Neuro-sama Game Jam 2 from December 27 to December 30, 2024, Space Carnival is an immersive space adventure that intertwines themes of love, sacrifice, and the unknown.

Game Concept

Astronauts embarking on a perilous one-way mission leave behind everything they cherish: their lives, homes, and loved ones. This journey transcends reality as the protagonist navigates through a realm where cryostasis blurs the lines between dreams and wakefulness.

Storyline

Haunting visions of alien invasions and memories of a lost love haunt the protagonist’s mind as they travel through the vastness of space. When disaster strikes the mission, humanity’s ingenuity and AI’s precision must combine to survive or perhaps it’s the raw power of love and memory that drives them to defy the odds. Will the protagonist reshape destiny and find their way back, or will the void claim their story forever?

Gameplay Features

Control the protagonist with ease using the WSAD/Arrow Keys for movement and the Spacebar to shoot. The controls are intuitive, allowing players to immerse themselves fully in the gripping narrative of Space Carnival.
