After a bitter breakup, Robin finds herself kicked out of her band by her former lover, Sterling Stone. Determined to prove her worth, she sets out to form a new band and show them all what she’s capable of. Despite initial misgivings about her new bandmates, she knows she needs them to achieve her goals.

Gameplay Modes

The game is a unique blend of visual novel and band management simulation. Players can customize their band by choosing the genre, name, and logo. Each band member has specific tasks to complete during the week, which affect three key stats: Music, Writing, and Star Quality. Managing these stats while reducing stress is crucial to success. The primary objective is to raise Popularity, which drives the game’s narrative forward.

Band Members and Storyline

The game follows Robin Gilly, a feisty rocker girl with a burning desire to prove herself. Her journey takes her back to her past where she reconnects with old friends turned adversaries. Key band members include Dallas Reed, a former bandmate turned rival, Beauregard LeMay, a trust fund baby with a hidden agenda, Emmitt Kirby, the son of a rock legend struggling to live up to his father’s expectations, and Sterling Stone, Robin’s former lover and current nemesis.

Customization Features

Players have a wealth of customization options at their disposal. They can choose from various genres such as Pop, Pop Rock, Indie Rock, Alternative, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, and Grunge. The band’s CD covers can be designed, instruments upgraded, gigs played to earn money and popularity, and even browse the band’s forum to see how fans perceive them. Additionally, players can shop for gifts for their bandmates and upgrade their living arrangements.

Features and Modes

The game offers multiple play modes. In Story Mode, players are restricted to three non-adjustable band members. The storyline is mostly linear but provides a compelling narrative arc. Once the story concludes, players can shift to Open-Ended Mode where they have complete control over their band composition. New recruits are added periodically, offering endless possibilities for band formation and management.

Additional Elements

The game includes several additional features such as multiple GxB romances, unlockable achievements, an unlockable scene gallery, and support for 800×600 resolution (with a planned update to widescreen). It is rated for players aged 13 and above due to some adult themes. Currently, the game is in Open Beta, so bugs may be present.
