Karamu, an intimate and intense psychological thriller, offers a deeply personal journey for its protagonist, Nelli, and her complex relationship with Raku. The story unfolds as Nelli sends Raku a heart-wrenching breakup message, but their fates become inextricably linked when she gets stranded in the forest with a broken bike and no reception. Raku’s persistence and Nelli’s reluctance create a tension that propels the narrative forward.

Game Details

Karamu is the prequel to Kanau, designed to be played after experiencing the latter. This game promises a gripping experience with its blend of Live2D-style animated CGs and comic book-style panels. The game features nine animated CGs and twelve comic book panels, totaling approximately 10,000 words (about 30-45 minutes of playtime). With four distinct endings, players are immersed in a world where every choice matters.

The game’s content warnings include violence and sensitive text descriptions. It is essential to note that this game does not depict healthy relationship dynamics and includes elements of dubious consent, emphasizing the importance of respecting boundaries.
