The city of Rhineway is home to five optional romances, each offering a unique experience. While Dart and Jade are reserved for late-game routes, they promise to captivate your heart with their stories. As you navigate through the city’s chaos, you’ll find support from your team, but only if you’re willing to take the first step.

Diverse Gameplay Elements

Rhineway offers a rich tapestry of gameplay elements. From a 50,000-word narrative with over 180 dialogue choices, to burgeoning romantic relationships, the game is designed to keep you engaged. Herotome is aroace-friendly, ensuring that your choices do not lock you into a specific relationship path. The game also features gorgeous and dynamic art, with every action having a corresponding reaction. Witness the immediate effects of your choices as characters visibly react with dynamic sprites and CGs. Note that CG expressions are fully implemented in this demo, while sprite expressions are still in active development.

Create Your Own Protagonist

Step into the role of Rhineway’s newest superhero recruit with your nameable protagonist and five unique portraits to choose from. More portraits are on the way, allowing you to personalize your hero further. You can even upload your own protagonist image for added customization.

Impactful Roleplaying Choices

Your journey in Rhineway is filled with pivotal choices that shape your destiny. From life-saving decisions to delightfully absurd ones, every choice ensures a one-of-a-kind experience. Will you kiss a dangerous stranger or punch her in the face? Will you beg your landlord to fix your water heater or tell him he’ll never amount to anything? These options are just a glimpse of the rich world and dynamic characters you’ll encounter.

Herotome offers two difficulty modes: CASUAL and HEROIC. The CASUAL mode is perfect for those who want a relaxed experience, while the HEROIC mode provides a more challenging playstyle. Whether you’re a shameless flirt or a strategic leader, the world of Rhineway is yours to shape.

What to Expect from Future Updates

Future updates will bring even more romantic tension and scenes. Expect additional sprite expressions, more art, and a reputation point system that rises and falls based on your choices. While voiced characters are featured in promotional videos, plans for in-game voice acting will be implemented at a later stage.
