The narrative of 3 Seasons begins with the protagonist, who is unexpectedly transported to the elemental realm during a mysterious job interview. There, she encounters three charismatic men: the guardians of Winter, Summer, and Fall. With the Spring spirit’s absence, she takes on his responsibilities until his return. The story unfolds with a mix of intrigue and romance, leaving the player to wonder if she’ll form a connection with one of these intriguing characters.

Gameplay Features

Players can customize the protagonist’s name and pronouns or choose to play as Ivy, a character with the pronouns she/her. The game offers three distinct routes: Winter, Summer, and Fall, each with two possible endings: friendship or romance. The player’s choices determine the trajectory of the story, influencing both the narrative’s direction and the flavor-text. This engaging system, combined with the presence of choices that alter scenarios, adds depth to the gameplay experience.

The total word count for each route is approximately 14,000 words, encompassing both romance and friendship scenes and endings. The overall game features a cumulative total of 40,000 words. Additionally, the game boasts a completely original soundtrack with nine tracks and over 15 original color backgrounds. Mini-games are also included to enhance the interactive experience.

Future Developments

The developers are currently working on a free DLC update titled “3 Seasons+ 1.” This update is detailed in their latest devlog from January 20, 2024. The DLC will include CGs for the Yuto, Sol, and Rye routes as well as an extras gallery. Sidestories for each of the three routes, focusing on the protagonists after they’ve been romanced, are also part of the update. Furthermore, a new romance route for Briar is being developed.

About Us

3 Seasons was created by a sibling team of three women of color during OtomeJam 2022. This team was responsible for writing, programming, producing the art and GUI, and composing the music within a span of just two months. The game is a self-produced work of love, with the exception of some programming resources and sound effects. It marks the debut game under the studio Hamilton Hour. Character Profiles

The characters in 3 Seasons are carefully crafted with distinct personalities and roles. Yuto, Sol, and Rye serve as the guardians of Winter, Summer, and Fall respectively. Each character has a unique profile that reflects their role in the elemental realm. The game also includes a social media manager, Vanade (@veetwentythree), who oversees the writing, art, and social media aspects. The programming, GUI, and editing are handled by Webmelon, while Piper is responsible for composing the soundtrack and inserting sound effects.
